Overview
The Clinical Services Home Health and Hospice Supervisor is responsible for coordinating patient care resources to meet clinical needs and ensure high-quality, efficient care delivery. This role leads a multidisciplinary team, supports clinical staff and physicians, and makes administrative decisions in collaboration with leadership. The Clinical Supervisor also contributes to program development, policy compliance, and staff retention strategies, while promoting exceptional customer service across all areas of responsibility.

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for coordinating patient care resources to meet the clinical needs of patients while ensuring high-quality, efficient, and compassionate care. This role oversees a multidisciplinary team and serves as a key resource for clinical staff, physicians, and the public. The Clinical Supervisor plays a vital role in administrative decision-making, staff development, and program implementation, while also supporting talent retention and customer service excellence.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and allocate patient care resources to ensure optimal clinical outcomes.

Supervise and support a multidisciplinary clinical team to deliver high-quality care.

Serve as a clinical and administrative resource for staff, physicians, and patients.

Make administrative decisions in collaboration with leadership regarding complex or sensitive situations.

Assist in the development and implementation of clinical programs, policies, and procedures.

Monitor compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Support staff development through coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.

Implement and support talent retention strategies within the team.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Required)
Certification/Licensure

Basic Life Support (BLS) – Certification – American Heart Association (AHA) RQI within 90 days of hire (Required)
