Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years experience in accreditation & regulatory required. 5 years of accreditation and regulatory affairs experience within Sentara and currently pursing bachelors degree may be substituted in lieu of Bachelor’s degree. Ability to abstract and analyze clinical information from medical records. Ability to work effectively with senior leadership, physicians and other healthcare providers, as well as, with multidisciplinary teams across department lines. Must possess knowledge of health care issues and process improvement concepts. Knowledge and understanding of regulatory and accreditation agency standards preferred.
