Sentara RMH Medical Center is currently seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join our PACU team. Sign-on bonus up to $15,000 for qualifying candidates.
Below are details regarding scheduling on the unit:
- Four 9-hour shifts per week; scheduled hours are not guaranteed work hours Shift options 0730-1700 0800-1730 0830-1800 0900-1830 FLEX shift (9-hour shift between 0730-1930 flexed to coverage needed; receive update day prior to shift with shift start time)
- Four Friday shifts required per 6-week schedule
- One Friday night call 1930-0700 per 6-week schedule
- One weekend (either Saturday or Sunday) 24-hour on-call 0700-0700 every 3rd weekend
- One holiday 24-hour on-call 0700-0700 per year (preset rotation)
Note: Staff are required to be dressed and ready to work within 30 minutes of receiving call. Staff self-schedule 6 weeks prior to the following schedule. Part-time and full-time staff are in two groups and rotate signing up first each 6-week schedule period. PACU Staff qualify for graduated call pay practices.
