Position Status: Full-time, Day Shift
Position Location: This position is in person
Standard Working Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM (ET).
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, or Finance required.
- Financial Analysis, Project Tracking, Strategic planning and partnering with leadership experience required.
Expectations for this Role:
Sentara Health is seeking a Director, Office of Legal Affairs Operations. This director will support special projects and day to day work of the legal department, works with the department as well as manages IT and law systems.
Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Initiative and Project Oversight:
– Lead and monitor key initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
– Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration for project success.
– Prioritize initiatives based on impact and organizational goals.
2. Financial and Budgetary Management:
– Oversee the division’s budget, including planning, tracking, and reporting.
– Identify opportunities for financial optimization and resource allocation.
– Work with CLO on annual budget for enterprise legal, risk and contract lifecycle management expenses.
3. Agenda Development and Strategic Alignment:
– Develop and manage agendas for key meetings, focusing on strategic priorities.
– Establish agendas for leadership team, all team meetings and education programs.
5. Dashboard Review and Analysis:
– Compile and analyze data for monthly executive dashboards.
– Provide insights for strategic decisions and performance reviews.
– Tracking and reporting of Corporate Function KPIs, SLAs
6. Strategic Imperatives, Goal Setting and Tracking:
– Collaborate with Office of Legal Affairs Senior Leadership team to set goals.
– Regularly update and track goals and strategic imperatives.
– Collaborate with leaders to navigate challenges and ensure goal achievement.
– Maintain a calendar of all annual business processes to ensure planned communications and timely delivery of such.
7. Organization-Wide Goals Tracking:
– Monitor and report on system-level goals.
– Engage with stakeholders for communication and challenge resolution.
– Monitor and report on key performance indicators for efficiency and effectiveness.
8. Communication Strategy:
– Develop and implement communication strategies for all enterprise Legal, Risk and CLM communications and colleague campaigns.
– Serve as a senior liaison for collaboration and alignment.
