Sentara Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Coordinator for the Infusion Centers that are located at Sentara Norfolk General and Sentara Independence.
Hours/Shift: Full Time (36 hours per week), Day Shift: 9 hour shifts, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m
Our Infusion Centers care for a broad variety of patients to include oncology, neurology, allergy & asthma, infections disease, transplants, and more.
Overview:
Demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for assigned specialty area and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department. Under the direction of the department manager leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff. Increase staff satisfaction and promotes excellent (Gold Standard) customer service.
Education
- Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN (Required) or MSN (Preferred)
Certification/Licensure
- Registered nursing License (Required)
- BLS required within 90 days of hire
Experience
- Minimum of 18 months relevant nursing experience.
