Sentara Medical Group is seeking a Flex/PRN Acute Care Advanced Practice Provider with Maternal Health training or Certified Nurse Midwife to join their LDRP team at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital. Join our dedicated Physicians and APPs as they provide a team-based collaborative approach to patient care, and are offered seamless access to the many resources available throughout the greater Sentara network for their patients. Highlights of this position include: •Scheduling by mutual agreement •Triage pregnant patients who arrive and are over 20 weeks gestation addressing chief complaints such as: possible labor, back pain, abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting, blood pressure issues both antenatally and postnatally, post op wound infections, fever, generally not feeling well, and more. •Assess OB complaints and make decisions. The ideal candidate will have GYN office or clinic experience and/or a strong L&D background as a RN prior to advancing to NP.
