Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia is seeking new graduate RN's to be a part of the Surgical Specialty – Adult Health Rotation Team.
Position is full-time/rotating shifts
All Surgical units at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital participate in the Adult Health Rotation “AHeart” program. As a new nurse you will rotate Surgical Specialty units throughout the program. The units will include General Surgical Unit, Stoke Unit Med/surg, Inpatient Rehab Unit, Medicine Unit, and Burn Trauma IMC – Med/Surg mixed unit. As a new grad you will be oriented successfully to work in each of these units. The Adult Surgical Specialty Rotation will give you a solid medical/surgical foundation and it will also train you to practice at a step-down level of care.
During your second year of the program, you may choose to join a med/surg unit that you have grown to love, be considered for a specialty unit or one of our internship programs. If you have a continuing interest in unit rotation you may also join the Sentara Resource Pool after 18 months in this program.
Requirements:
-Registered Nurse (ADN, BSN or MSN)
