Overview
Sentara Hospice – Chesapeakeis looking for a full time Bereavement Coordinator to join the team.
Shift: Mon – Fri (8am – 5pm)
The Bereavement Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing and maintaining a bereavement program to meet the needs of the families/ caregivers of patients in the Hospice program. Provides bereavement support through grief support, therapeutic and spiritual counseling and through family assessments and consultations with the interdisciplinary team.
Qualifications:
3 years Hospice experience required
Bachelors Degree required (must be in Theology, Counseling or Thanatology)
