As a Med-Surg RN at Sentara Obici, you’ll deliver high-quality, patient-centered care alongside a collaborative, interdisciplinary team. You’ll care for adult patients with a wide range of diagnoses, including post-surgical recovery, chronic illness management, acute exacerbations, and more.
Your role will include:

Comprehensive patient assessments and care planning

Administering medications, managing IVs, and monitoring vital signs

Collaborating with physicians, therapists, and case managers

Providing patient education and emotional support

Advocating for patient needs with compassion and professionalism
Qualifications:

Current RN licensure in Virginia or compact state
-
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN or BSN preferred)
-
BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)

Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills

Passion for delivering safe, high-quality, and compassionate care
