Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking a motivated and dedicated RN Manager, Nursing and Patient Care Services to oversee and guide the daily operations of one or more clinical areas within our nationally recognized healthcare system.

About the Role
As the Manager of Nursing and Patient Care Services, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth, effective, and compassionate delivery of care within your designated clinical areas. You’ll lead by example—modeling best practices, promoting collaboration, and driving performance aligned with Sentara’s mission of safety, quality, and patient-centered service.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Required Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or compact state

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)

Minimum of 5 years of RN experience in a hospital or acute care setting
Preferred Qualifications:

Prior leadership or charge nurse experience

Critical Care Experience

Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills

Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration (a plus)
