Job Summary:
As an Endoscopy Technician, you will support gastroenterology procedures by preparing rooms, assisting with endoscopic equipment, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients and staff. You’ll play an essential role in ensuring smooth and efficient procedures and delivering a high standard of care to every patient.
Responsibilities:

Assist physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures

Prepare and maintain endoscopy equipment and procedure rooms

Clean, disinfect, and sterilize scopes and instruments following infection control guidelines

Ensure proper documentation and inventory of supplies

Provide excellent customer service and maintain a calm, professional presence in fast-paced settings

Support quality and safety initiatives across the unit
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Previous experience in a clinical or surgical environment preferred

Certification in sterile processing or endoscopy technology is a plus (will train qualified candidates)

Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Effective communication and teamwork skills
