Sentara Guest Services is hiring a Patient Experience Intern to work onsite at Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA, working full-time, 8-hour day shift, for a 12-14 week Internship starting at the end of August-early September.
Responsibilities
The Intern position serves as an educational development opportunity. Under the close direction of a colleague, assumes responsibility for operational projects and supporting the leadership initiatives for a defined period of time. Assists in completion of various projects and administrative duties while developing skills related to the assigned department and healthcare industry. Coordinates and assists with projects based on operational needs and/or Intern's area of interest. Communicates ongoing progress related to currently assigned tasks.
Education

Must be currently pursuing and/or enrolled in a college or university at an undergraduate or graduate level or an active military service member seeking a SkillBridge internship.
