Expectations for this Role:
The HR Business Partner is a results-driven leader, responsible for collaborating with division executive teams, as a trusted advisor, to shape and execute people-related strategies that align with and drive the achievement of organizational goals. As a change management expert, this role leads HR initiatives that support the division's strategic objectives, tackling complex challenges with innovative, people-centered solutions. This leader works closely with cross functional teams, including Centers of Expertise (COEs), to drive organizational performance through the design and implementation of effective strategies, while maintaining a deep understanding of the division's financial health, long-term plans, organizational culture, and competitive landscape.
As a Director, HR Business Partnerships, you will serve as a trusted advisor and strategic consultant to executive leadership, providing expert guidance and leadership on all aspects of human resources to support the business, drive growth, solve complex challenges and optimize employee engagement by aligning HR initiatives with organizational objectives.
Key responsibilities of the role include: serving as a strategic partner by collaborating closely with business leaders to understand their strategic priorities, translate them into actionable HR strategies and develop tailored solutions to address challenges; proactively managing talent through data-driven insights, performance and talent management strategies and colleague development, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives; proactively driving colleague engagement by providing analytical and qualitative insights to identify key issues, leadership coaching for effective action planning and instilling accountability mechanisms for continuous improvement; Identifying and addressing colleague concerns, including labor relations, in collaboration with COE partners; overseeing organizational restructuring efforts including workforce planning, role and job design to optimize team effectiveness; facilitating and supporting significant organizational change through execution of change management strategies, including leader coaching and support; navigating organizational transformations; leveraging HR data and organizational metrics to identify trends, inform decision making and measure the impact of HR initiatives on business performance; coaching and mentoring leaders at all levels, building their leadership capabilities and ensuring adherence to all applicable employment laws, regulations and policies. This role exists within a highly matrixed and complex environment, requiring strong analytical skills with proficiency in data interpretation to inform decision-making, excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills at all levels of leadership and with diverse stakeholders.
